Mysore September 3 Selections

1) Sky Empress looks home and dry in this set. Should canter. Smart Cooky for place

2) A Run to Remember - Kalyan - Golden Dixie. Ignore the last run of ARTR, it was clearly not a jobber against Saddle Chief. My guess is it will only be tried if the odds are good enough.

3) (Smart Ways - Balas Glory) - Oceanic Wind. Smart Ways is back to its pet distance, comes into reckoning. Balas Glory should run a good race & can upset if the former is soft. Oceanic Wind likes soft underfoot conditions, can grace the board if the going suits her.

4) Bad race.

5) (Lads Gladiator - Celestial Son) - Youre a Legend. Celestial Son is superior, was given a horrendous ride by the apprentice last run. If race fit, will beat Lads Gladiator.

6) Moves Good Enough - Flying Tricolour - Portatone. Moves Good Enough is cut above the rest in this field, should be played as a good bet.

7) Sprint Star - Tomsk - Cielo Ray. Sprint Star is my days best bet, should win this quite easily. Note Our Little Salvage for place at longer odds

8) Bad race.

9) River Glory - Our Lancer. As always, the race for Mysore based horses being very competitive. The first name was unextended in its last run, should run a game race in the hands of the apprentice
