Your opinions, feedback, suggestions about this blog!

Dear all,

We are soon going to be one year young. All the visitors here have seen / downloaded/ used or maybe even ignored the files that we have been regularly generating.

There has been almost ZERO feedback from all the patrons with regards to many aspects of the same, except for some kind words of praise, and a couple of stray questions.

We would kindly request you to take a few opinion polls (8 of them), which are featuring on the right side of this post, and help us improve the quality and the quantity of the data generated.

Please respond / select the most relevant reply on as many questions as are applicable to you. Please try and reply to the majority or better still all of the questions if possible.

This will help us to help you with better output of the same.

You can vote on the opinion poll for the next 22 days and then we go over the results.

PS: Write to beyerspeed@gmail.com with any suggestions, changes and opinion in general.

Thank you,

Beyerspeed Team.

  1. sir, i am 65 yrs aged punter of Hyderabad centre. I am the arch follower of ur website since its inception i have been very successful punter after following ur worksheets Normally i will be watching all the websites pertaining to racing and I can say proudly that urs is the best of all provided the punter observe some points mentioned in the sheets. My only request to u is kinly send the sheets one day early so that we can make thorough calculations otherwise if we get thost sheets on raceday morning it is very difficult the go through the calculation and reach the race centre. May God give u more and more success in the coming years also Thanking u nnnr

  3. This is an extract of a mail that i recieved:

    Dear Shashi

I am very regular in visiting your blog and using the sheet

Your Sheet is VERY VERY useful to get a clear picture and to avoid the non-jobbers. The only request is to upload the file in advance. This give good time to study and compare race by race to arrive the betting. After taking your rating, I will work with the weight and Trainer / Jockey combination along with the track work will narrow down 2 to 3 horses. Based on the race time odds will back place/win one of the horse.

No doubt you doing excellent job. ------------------

Thanks for the support and great work.

  4. Great work I would say. I always check out the beyer ratings after my own calculations and check whether the horse decided by me has a good rating comparatively . So it is actually very useful but still am not able to win in races because of the foul play involved, still will keep up my struggle and fight but surely will need support from people like u to smell success. Thank you once again for ur efforts.

Sub: request for changes in sheet

    Hello Shashi
    1. distance to winner if shown is better because finish position does not depict the real picture
    2. a single comment colum where comments which describe the run (like unextended run or foward run, of finisshing on, or bad run, or improved run, impressive run, notable run )
    3. a colum showing race incidents (like intefered, slowly off, missed jump, stumbled, unshoed, blood veseel, lame)
    4. lastly showing (try jockey or airing jockey, showing intent)

we could have short forms like how it is printed in the bol race book
    regards

  6. Another extract of an email that i received:

    Dear beyerspeed team,

Thank u for uploading the beyer speed figures regularly.

I don't know what are the factors you use for calculating the speed figures. But certainly you would not have used factors like deduction of points for bad jockeys for earlier races, addition of points for good jockeys now, bend position, post position (previous and at present) for calculating the speed figures. I think if you take the above into consideration, you would definetely improve the figures. After downloading your figures, I roughly used the above factors and observed that even some times when your figure is small, with best jockey astride now, the horse won/place. Sometimes, with poor jockey astride now, even when the previous figures are good, the horse failed. So I request you to tell me which factors you used to calculate the speed figures, so that I can recalculate the figures by including the other relevant factors.

However, with out your figures, I would have lost lot of money. Now at leat I am not losing much, eventhough not on positive side, which I hope can improve with your improved figures. Thank u once again for your speed figures, which are a lot of help for me.

    Yours lovingly
